Appeal / Help save the UK’s ancient woods

Throughout the last 10 years, 900 woods have been threatened by planning applications throughout the UK.  Many of these woods have not survived and have been lost to housing developments, quarries and golf courses, removing all traces of ancient woodland characteristics and the precious wildlife habitats it provides.  Until the importance of ancient woodland and the value of the biodiversity it brings are recognised, the UK’s woods are still in danger.
