Get kids outside and active with the nature detectives CLUB, developed and run by the Woodland Trust’s learning team. We believe this is the UK’s best, with flexible activities sent to children every week, tailored to the weather and time of year, encouraging creativity, imagination and self-led discovery.
Weekly nature challenges
Get your challenges by email every Friday afternoon. Designed to get your family exploring outdoors, they are made fresh that morning and packed with things to spot, make and investigate. Plus there’s indoor fun too with crafts, experiments, creative writing, media, recipes and drama, plus exclusive competitions and prizes.
Giant wall chart and stickers
Chart your family’s progress through your weekly challenges with your woodland Olympics wall chart – stick a gold medal sticker on your chart every time your family completes a challenge, then count up the medals at the end of your year and fill in the medal table!
Activity packs in the post
This season’s activity pack includes fantastic tree and flower trump cards; a nature decoding tool to cut out, make and use to solve wildlife facts; spring blossom ID sheet; springscape colouring outline; newspaper template to report the breaking news of spring; puzzles and stickers.
Your activity packs in autumn and spring will be crammed full with even more – stickers, things to make, posters, art sheets and ideas, puzzles and games.
Please note, the first materials are sent to the buyer to give as a gift. After that, all materials are sent to the children by post, email and through the website.
(Member ages currently: 5 – 13 years)
Delivery normally within 10 days, but please allow up to 28 days in case we are exceptionally busy. The year’s activities start when the membership is activated by the child.
