Faulty products

We hope you will be delighted with your purchase, but if not please return the goods in the original packaging, clearly stating your name, address and order number and reasons for your return within 30 days of receipt to:  the Woodland Trust, Freepost, Admail 4126, Grantham, Lincolnshire, NG31 6ZX. Where the goods are faulty we will issue a refund.  Where substitute goods have been offered as an alternative, these may be returned by Freepost to the address above for a full refund.  


Returns if you change your mind

For most products you can cancel your order, either before or after we deliver it, by notifying us within 15 days of delivery without giving any reason. You can do so by contacting our Supporter Care Team on 0330 333 3300 (free from a land-line) or by emailing us at To meet the cancellation deadline it is sufficient for you to tell us that you wish to cancel before the cancellation period has expired. You then have 15 days to get the products back to us for a full refund. Please note that for certain products like personalised items or things which deteriorate quickly, this right to cancel will not apply. Please note you must return the goods undamaged in the original packaging, clearly stating your name, address, order number to: the Woodland Trust, Freepost, Admail 4126, Grantham, Lincolnshire, NG31 6ZX.

Native Trees

Please follow the instructions carefully which accompany your tree. Depending on the time of year your sapling will probably be supplied in a dormant state. If however you scrape back a small piece of the bark and you do not see pale new wood underneath we will accept the tree back in its original packaging and we will exchange the tree or provide a full refund. If you do not wish to receive a replacement tree, please state this when returning your purchase. Kindly note we do not accept returns of trees if you change your mind. You may return the tree within 30 days of receipt if it is defective, but we encourage you to check the tree carefully or receipt and you must of taken good care of it.
